A comprehensive review of the Arm Chair exercises intertwined with evidence-based training in the traditional Pilates method.

4:45 - 7:15 p.m. Real Anatomy in Motion with Britta Nauman, PT, DPT, CMTPT
A review of anatomy, common client ailments, and all the perfect imperfections as our anatomy changes during an active aging process.

The continuing education event is designed for certified Pilates teachers and apprentices who have completed a minimum of half of a training program. Sessions and classes with Peter are open to teachers, apprentices, and students who meet level requirements. EVENT SCHEDULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

In addition to the workshops, Peter will be offering the following sessions and classes: (separate fees & registration apply)

There will be a limited number of one on one & duet sessions offered on Friday & Saturday.

 Peter Fiasca

Peter's unique perspective comes from years of experience as a Romana Kryzanowska certified Pilates instructor. His many years of study, and long-term teacher training experience culminate into intriguing, spirited and fun educational events! Peter's devotion with Pilates began in 1988 when he took his first class at Wee-Tai Hom's studio in New York City. As his passion grew, Peter pursued teacher training at Drago's Gym, receiving certification in 1998 from the legendary master teacher Romana Kryzanowska. Over time, Peter honed his knowledge and teaching with regular lessons from Romana, as well as from master teachers Jay Grimes, Kathy Grant, and other distinguished, traditional instructors. Peter continues to study and dedicate himself to the preservation of Joe Pilates' traditional system of corrective exercise. Peter helps educate the public about Traditional Pilates technique by sustaining the worldwide www.ClassicalPilates.net instructor directory.
Producer and director of the award-winning Classical Pilates Technique series of six DVDs (2002-2006) and author of the critically reviewed companion book, Discovering Pure Classical Pilates (2008). During 2013 he released a new book,Voices of Classical Pilates, which is an extraordinary collection of essays written by 28 well-respected professional Classical Pilates teachers. Peter appeared in Romana Kryzanowska's first commercial DVD project, demonstrating the Pilates Mat workout, as well as the DVD Pilates Revealed, with master teacher Jay Grimes.During 2017 Peter released Voices of Classical Pilates II: Men's Work, which is a unique collection of essays and dialogues by 30 professional Classical Pilates teachers and students. Peter has been a frequent guest instructor at training centers throughout the U.S., Europe and South America.

Britta Nauman, PT, DPT, CMTPT, graduated from University of Maryland in 2006 with a Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After working in the hospital environment and a private practice in Catonsville, Britta started working as a Physical Therapist at Physiotherapy Associates in Annapolis, MD in 2009, now NovaCare Rehabilitation. She is now clinic manager of the two Annapolis NovaCare Rehabilitation clinics and continues to practice physical therapy regularly as that is her passion. Britta specializes in the treatment of orthopedic injuries to include spine, joints, post-surgical and sports injury and prevention of injury, she also treats postural/ movement dysfunctions and vestibular system hypofunction.
